Downtown building requirements at a glance
Downtown buildings typically require: a signed moving form lodged 48-72 hours in advance, a refundable moving deposit (AED 500-2,000 depending on the building), proof of third-party liability insurance, service-lift reservation, and strict move windows, usually Monday to Thursday, 10 AM to 4 PM. No moves during Dubai Mall peak hours or on event days around the Fountain. We handle every one of these steps.

For buildings like Burj Khalifa Residences, The Address Downtown and Armani Residences we recommend booking at least 5-7 working days ahead so the building permit, insurance paperwork and service-lift window can all line up. For other Downtown towers 2-3 working days is usually enough. Last-minute moves are sometimes possible mid-week but rarely on Mondays or Thursdays.
Most Downtown buildings take a refundable moving deposit of AED 500 to AED 2,000. This is not a Timeless Relocation fee, it goes to building management and is returned after the move, provided there is no damage to common areas. We can pay this on your behalf on the day if the building accepts it, and add it to your final invoice as a pass-through.
No, and neither can anyone else. Every Downtown building restricts moves to weekday 10 AM, 4 PM windows specifically to avoid the Dubai Mall shopping rush (especially 5 PM onwards and weekends). We plan around Fountain show timings, DIFF/GITEX weeks, and National Day events so your truck is never caught in Boulevard gridlock.
Yes. The Address Downtown, Address Boulevard and Address Residences all allow resident moves with prior hotel-management approval. Serviced apartment moves are slightly different, the operator's concierge usually does a walk-through with the mover on arrival and departure. We've done this many times and know the process for each Address property.
Downtown moves start from AED 800 for a studio and AED 1,500 for a 1-bedroom. Larger apartments are quoted after a photo or site assessment. Downtown pricing is marginally higher than other Dubai areas because of the building-management paperwork, stricter timing, and floor protection requirements, all of which are already included, not add-ons.
